Let's Do This sells entries to races and other mass-participation events. Its two-factor authentication (2FA) belongs to the organizer side: the dashboard where event teams build events, handle registrations and see revenue. The participant help center, for people who book entries, doesn't describe 2FA at all, so this guide is for organizers and their team members.

2FA isn't required. Let's Do This recommends it for everyone with dashboard access, and especially for Admins and Editors, who can change events or see financial data (Let's Do This). The only second step it documents is a code from an authenticator app: no text messages, no email codes. This guide uses Authenticator App - Novaz on iPhone, but any authenticator app works the same way.

How we checked this guide: the Let's Do This steps come from Let's Do This's own partner help center, linked below, which we read on October 21, 2026. We haven't tested them on a Let's Do This account, so a label may differ slightly. The Novaz steps are checked against the app, version 1.0.5.

Each person sets up their own

An Admin can't switch 2FA on for the whole team. Every team member turns it on in their own account settings, and nobody can do it on someone else's behalf (Let's Do This). If you manage a team, ask each person to do the steps below themselves.

Turn on 2FA with an authenticator app

The help center describes these steps (Let's Do This):

  1. In the dashboard, click your profile at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Settings.
  2. Find the Two-step verification section and click it. If you have no authenticator yet, you'll be prompted to add one.
  3. A QR code appears. In Novaz, tap +, then Scan QR code, and point the camera at it. If the dashboard is open on the same iPhone, take a screenshot and use Choose a photo instead. See scanning a QR code on the same iPhone.
  4. If you can't scan, copy the text key shown under the QR code. In Novaz, tap +, then Enter key manually, type a name such as Let's Do This in Service, and paste the key into Setup key. See What is a 2FA setup key?
  5. Type the six-digit code from Novaz into Verification code and click Verify.

Let's Do This says its codes change every 30 seconds, which matches what Novaz makes from a typed key. If a code runs out before you submit it, wait for the next one.

Your authenticators are listed under Settings > Two-step verification, each with the name you gave it and the date you added it. The steps don't show where you type that name.

Signing in afterwards

Once 2FA is on, every sign-in asks for a code from your authenticator app after your password (Let's Do This). The help center doesn't mention trusted devices or a way to skip the code on a familiar computer.

No backup codes

The Let's Do This help center doesn't mention backup or recovery codes, and it gives no second method to fall back on. It also warns that losing your authenticator can mean losing the account. Its exact words are "no way to recover access to your account without your authenticator" (Let's Do This).

That matters with Novaz: unless you turn on iCloud backup or export a backup file, its keys exist only on your iPhone. Keep the phone safe, and make sure your team has more than one Admin, since only Admins can invite people and change roles (Let's Do This).

If Let's Do This rejects your code

Beyond waiting for the next code, the help center has no advice on rejected codes. Check your iPhone's clock: Settings > General > Date & Time > Set Automatically. Novaz also warns you when your clock is 15 seconds or more off. More causes are in Authenticator code not working?

Changing phones

The dashboard lets you remove an authenticator and add a new one whenever you like (Let's Do This). If you restore Novaz on the new iPhone from an iCloud backup or backup file, Let's Do This comes with it. Without a backup, do the switch while the old phone still works:

  1. On the new iPhone, set up Novaz and add Let's Do This with the steps above.
  2. Back in Two-step verification, click Remove next to the old authenticator.
  3. Sign out and back in to check that the new phone's code works.

See How to transfer your authenticator app to a new iPhone.

If you lose your authenticator

The same help page that warns about lost access also says to contact Let's Do This support if you lose your phone or can't open your authenticator app, and that support can help you regain access (Let's Do This). It doesn't say what proof support asks for or how long it takes. Elsewhere, the partner help center gives support@letsdothis.com as the customer support team's address (Let's Do This). Turning 2FA off

Go to Settings > Two-step verification and click Remove next to your authenticator. After that, sign-in no longer asks for a second step (Let's Do This). In Novaz, you can then open the account and tap Remove account.
