Your CDN77 account is where you run your CDN resources, Object Storage, live streaming and billing through the CDN77 Client Panel. Two-factor authentication (2FA) is optional for a single account, but an organization admin can make it compulsory for the whole team. CDN77 documents one method: a code from an authenticator app on your phone, typed in after your password (CDN77). Its help doesn't mention text messages or backup codes. This guide uses Authenticator App - Novaz on iPhone, but any authenticator app works the same way.

How we checked this guide: the CDN77 steps come from CDN77's own documentation, linked below, which we read on October 21, 2026. The main article was last updated on January 23, 2025, and it's short. We haven't tested the steps on a CDN77 account, so a label may differ slightly. The Novaz steps are checked against the app, version 1.0.5.

Turn on 2FA with an authenticator app

CDN77's knowledge base describes these steps (CDN77):

  1. Sign in to the CDN77 Client Panel at client.cdn77.com.
  2. Open the two-factor page from the Account settings menu in the sidebar. The article also links straight to it at client.cdn77.com/account/two-step-authentication.
  3. Click Enable two-factor authentication and enter your CDN77 password when asked.
  4. CDN77 shows a QR code. In Novaz, tap +, then Scan QR code, and point the camera at it. If the Client Panel is open on the same iPhone, take a screenshot, tap +, then Choose a photo. See scanning a QR code on the same iPhone.
  5. Verify the setup by entering the current code from Novaz.

The article doesn't say whether CDN77 also shows a text key you can type in instead of scanning. If you see one, tap + in Novaz, then Enter key manually, and paste it as the Setup key. See What is a 2FA setup key? Scanning is the safer route, because CDN77 doesn't say how many digits its codes have or how often they change, and a QR code passes those settings to Novaz.

Signing in afterwards

Once 2FA is on, CDN77 asks for a code from your app after you enter your usual sign-in details. The article doesn't mention a way to trust a device or skip the code on a computer you use often.

There are no documented backup codes

CDN77's help doesn't mention backup or recovery codes, or a second method to fall back on. So plan ahead: turn on iCloud backup or export a backup file in Novaz, and know that losing the phone without one means going through CDN77 support (below). If the Client Panel does offer recovery codes when you finish setup, save them somewhere other than your phone. More in 2FA backup codes.

Teams and organization-wide 2FA

An admin can see which team members use 2FA on the team member page of the Client Panel. On the organization settings page, the admin can make it required for everyone. Members who don't have it yet will be asked to set it up the next time they sign in (CDN77). The CDN77 API's team member list also reports whether each person has two-step authentication on (CDN77).

If CDN77 rejects your code

CDN77's help gives no advice on rejected codes. Check your iPhone's clock first: Settings > General > Date & Time > Set Automatically. Novaz warns you when the clock is 15 seconds or more off. Other causes are in Authenticator code not working?

Changing phones

CDN77 doesn't describe moving 2FA to a new phone. While you can still sign in, the simplest route is to turn 2FA off on the two-factor page and turn it on again with the new iPhone. Do this before you wipe or hand over the old one, unless you restore Novaz on the new iPhone from iCloud backup or a backup file. See How to transfer your authenticator app to a new iPhone.

If you lose your authenticator

CDN77's only documented fix is its support team. If you lose the app or can't get a code, contact CDN77 support through the live chat or by email at support@cdn77.com (CDN77). The article doesn't say what proof of ownership support asks for or how long it takes. More in Lost the phone with your authenticator app?

Turning 2FA off

Open the same two-factor page in Account settings and switch the setting off (CDN77). If your organization requires 2FA for all members, CDN77 will ask you to set it up again at your next sign-in. After that, open CDN77 in Novaz and tap Remove account.
