Senko Digital 2FA: how to set up an authenticator app
By the Novaz team · Updated October 29, 2026
Novaz steps checked against version 1.0.5
On this page
Senko Digital is a hosting provider for virtual servers and game servers. It gives you two separate logins, and each one has its own two-factor authentication (2FA):
- the Client Area at my.senko.digital, where you order servers, pay and open support tickets, and
- the game panel at panel.senko.digital, where you run a game server. It's based on Pterodactyl.
Turning on 2FA in one doesn't protect the other. Both are optional, and both work with any authenticator app that makes time-based codes (Senko Digital, Senko Digital). This guide uses Authenticator App - Novaz on iPhone, but any authenticator app works the same way.
How we checked this guide: the Senko Digital steps come from Senko Digital's official wiki, linked below, including its screenshots, which we read on October 21, 2026. The wiki site blocks automated access, so we read the same pages as source files in Senko Digital's official GitHub repository for the wiki. We haven't tested them on a Senko Digital account, so a label may differ slightly. The Novaz steps are checked against the app, version 1.0.5.
Turn on 2FA in the Client Area
These steps follow Senko Digital's wiki and its screenshots (Senko Digital):
- Sign in to the Client Area at my.senko.digital.
- Click your login (your email address) in the top-right corner and choose Settings.
- Under Two-factor authentication, click Enable two-factor authentication.
- A page shows a QR code, your Account name and a Key. In Novaz, tap +, then Scan QR code. If the page is on the same iPhone, take a screenshot and use Choose a photo instead. See scanning a QR code on the same iPhone.
- If you can't scan, copy the text in Key. In Novaz, tap +, then Enter key manually, and paste it as the Setup key. See What is a 2FA setup key?
- Under Save key, click save to download the key. The wiki calls this your recovery key and tells you to keep it.
- Type the 6-digit code from Novaz into Temporary password and click Ok.
The setup page warns that the key changes each time the form opens, so a key file from an earlier try won't match. It also wants your phone's clock within one minute of the Server time it shows.
The settings page says these codes also confirm group operations and form edits, so expect prompts beyond sign-in.
Turn on 2FA in the game panel
From the wiki's game panel page (Senko Digital):
- Sign in to the game panel at panel.senko.digital.
- Click your avatar or email in the top-right corner, or open the Account page.
- Go to the 2FA section and click Enable 2FA.
- The Enable two-factor authentication window shows a QR code with the key printed under it. Scan it with Novaz, or type the key with Enter key manually as above.
- Enter the 6-digit code from Novaz, then your account password in the field below it, and click Enable.
- The panel shows recovery codes. Download or copy them somewhere safe before you close the window. 2FA is on once that window is closed.
After that, the panel asks for a code each time you sign in.
What to keep as a backup
Without a Novaz backup (iCloud backup or a backup file), Novaz's keys exist only on your iPhone, so the backups Senko Digital gives you matter:
- Client Area: the key file from Save key. The wiki doesn't explain how this file is used at sign-in, only that you should save it.
- Game panel: the recovery codes. The wiki says they let you sign in if you lose your authenticator.
Store them away from your phone. More in 2FA backup codes.
If a code is rejected
Senko Digital's advice is to wait for the next code and try again, and to make sure the phone's time is synced automatically (Senko Digital). On iPhone, open Settings > General > Date & Time and turn on Set Automatically. Novaz warns you when the clock is 15 seconds or more off. Other causes are in Authenticator code not working?
Changing phones
The wiki says to move your keys before you give up the old device. In Novaz, you do that with iCloud backup or a backup file, then restore on the new iPhone. Without one, set up each Senko Digital login again on the new phone while the old one still works. In the game panel, that means turning 2FA off (which asks for a current code) and on again. See How to transfer your authenticator app to a new iPhone.
If you lose your authenticator
Use the saved key or recovery codes first. Without them, the wiki says to contact Senko Digital support through its contacts page, which will restore access after checking your identity (Senko Digital). It doesn't say what proof it asks for or how long it takes. More in Lost the phone with your authenticator app?
Turning 2FA off
In the game panel, go back to the 2FA section on the Account page and confirm with a current code (Senko Digital). The wiki doesn't describe turning it off in the Client Area. In Novaz, open the account and tap Remove account only after 2FA is off on the Senko Digital side.
