Cloudbet 2FA: how to set up an authenticator app
By the Novaz team · Updated October 29, 2026
Novaz steps checked against version 1.0.5

Cloudbet is a crypto sportsbook and casino. Its two-factor authentication (2FA) is optional and works with an authenticator app: after your email and password, Cloudbet asks for a code from the app. Once it's on, the same code also goes into the withdrawal form (Cloudbet, archived). Cloudbet's help doesn't describe text-message codes for signing in.
The setup has one unusual detail: Cloudbet gives you your recovery code first, before you see the QR code. This guide uses Authenticator App - Novaz on iPhone, but any authenticator app works the same way.
How we checked this guide: the Cloudbet steps come from Cloudbet's own Help Center, linked below, which we read on October 21, 2026. Cloudbet's website didn't respond to our automated reader, so we read the articles in archived copies saved on web.archive.org between May and September 2026. We haven't tested them on a Cloudbet account, so a label may differ slightly. The Novaz steps are checked against the app, version 1.0.5.
Turn on 2FA with an authenticator app
Cloudbet's setup article, last updated May 12, 2026, gives these steps (Cloudbet, archived):
- On the Cloudbet site, select your profile icon.
- Under Account, select Security.
- Under Two-factor authentication, select Set up 2FA.
- Cloudbet emails you a one-time code. Enter it.
- Cloudbet shows your recovery code. Save it now (see below), then click Continue.
- Cloudbet shows a QR code. In Novaz, tap +, then Scan QR code, and point the camera at the screen. If the QR code is on the same iPhone, take a screenshot, tap +, then Choose a photo. See scanning a QR code on the same iPhone.
- Click Continue, enter the code from Novaz, and click Continue again.
- Select Got it.
Cloudbet then asks you to sign in again, this time with your password and a code.
Cloudbet's article doesn't mention a text key you can type instead of scanning. If the setup screen offers one, tap + in Novaz, then Enter key manually, and paste it into Setup key. See What is a 2FA setup key?
If the email code doesn't arrive
The code in step 4 is a 6-digit code sent to the email address you signed up with. Cloudbet suggests checking spam, waiting a few minutes, then starting the setup again for a new code. If it still doesn't come, contact customer support (Cloudbet, archived).
If you signed up with Google or Apple, your account has no email address or password by default. Cloudbet's support team can add an email for you (Cloudbet, archived). Its 2FA articles don't say how setup works for those accounts.
Your single recovery code
Cloudbet gives you one recovery code, not a list. Keep it even if you use Novaz's iCloud backup or a backup file: it's your way in if the phone is gone and that backup is missing or old. Store it on paper or in a password manager before you click Continue. Cloudbet's help doesn't say whether you can see the code again or make a new one later. More in 2FA backup codes.
When Cloudbet asks for a code
- Signing in: on the Authentication Code screen, after your email and password (Cloudbet, archived).
- Withdrawing: the withdrawal form has a 2FA Code field to fill in once 2FA is on. You still confirm the withdrawal by email, or in Telegram if you signed up there (Cloudbet, archived).
- Turning 2FA off: see the last section.
If Cloudbet rejects your code
Cloudbet's help doesn't cover rejected codes. The usual cause is the iPhone's clock: open Settings > General > Date & Time and turn on Set Automatically. Novaz also warns you when the clock is 15 seconds or more off. For other causes, see Authenticator code not working?
Lost your phone or recovery code
Cloudbet says to remove 2FA right away if you lose the device you use for it (Cloudbet, archived).
With your recovery code:
- Sign out of Cloudbet, then sign in with your email and password.
- On the Authentication Code screen, select Lost device?.
- Enter your password and your recovery code.
- Select Remove 2FA.
Without it: contact Cloudbet customer support. Cloudbet may ask for verification documents to confirm the account is yours, and says it removes 2FA within a few business days after that.
If someone else changed your 2FA, Cloudbet's advice is to contact support at once (Cloudbet, archived). See also Lost the phone with your authenticator app?
New iPhone, or turning 2FA off
Cloudbet doesn't describe moving 2FA to a new phone. With a Novaz iCloud backup or backup file, you can restore your accounts on the new iPhone (how to move to a new iPhone). Without one, keep in mind that turning 2FA off needs a code from your current app, so switch while you still have the old phone: turn 2FA off, then set it up again on the new one.
To turn it off (Cloudbet, archived):
- Select your profile icon, then Security under Account.
- Select Disable 2FA.
- Enter the code from your authenticator app. Cloudbet's article calls it the Google Authenticator app, but Novaz codes work the same way.
- Select Disable 2FA again.
Afterwards, open the Cloudbet entry in Novaz and tap Remove account.
